Two-Night Escape Features Casual-Luxe Accommodations at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in South Florida, Yoga Classes, Informative Sessions, Balanced Meals & More
Margaritaville Sports & Recreation today announced reservations are open for its first-ever yoga retreat. Taking place July 21-23 at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, the retreat includes two nights of casual-luxe water-view accommodations, indoor and outdoor yoga instruction, learning sessions and nutritionally balanced meals. Pricing for the retreat is $1,800 per person, and can be paid either by a one-time payment or payment plan.
Each morning during the retreat, participants will rise with an outdoor yoga session on the legendary Hollywood Beach, just steps from the resort. There will be five different practices of yoga throughout the course of the weekend and informative workshops covering wellness topics ranging from goal setting to nutrition. Participants will enjoy healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, thoughtfully prepared by the resort’s food and beverage team.
The Margaritaville yoga retreat will be led by experienced yoga instructor, Dana Taft. Taft is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. In addition, the retreat will feature guest speaker Melanie Buffett, niece of Jimmy Buffett. Buffett is a fitness and wellness coach serving clients since 2001. She is a 20-year weight-loss success story; a professional yoga, pilates and cardio-fitness instructor; and a balanced-diet nutrition consultant.
“This retreat is a unique opportunity for people to develop a deeper understanding of yoga’s integration of mind, body and breath,” said Melanie Buffett. “Celebrating over 20 years of practice and study, yoga is integral to the fabric of my life and lifestyle. Balanced living, peace of mind, and being a part of a worldwide community of yogis are the greatest gifts I have received from this life-affirming and healthy practice. I look forward to being a part of this exciting retreat and best of all, to meeting new friends!”
The retreat is the first in a new series for Margaritaville Sports & Recreation. Margaritaville Sports & Recreations also hosts other events throughout the year such as 5K and half marathon races, virtual races, and paddle boarding competitions.
Participants must bring their own mats with them; all other props will be provided (such as bolsters, towels, blankets, straps and blocks).
