TWO NHL TEAMS ANNOUNCE MARGARITAVILLE NIGHTS

The Chicago Blackhawks invite fans to attend a special Margaritaville Night event at the United Center on Friday, Feb. 22 when the Blackhawks take on the Colorado Avalanche at 6:30 p.m.

A variety of activities will bring a summer state of mind to Chicago’s winter season, including live music, beach ball drop, photo opportunities and giveaways. The first 1,500 fans to enter the United Center Atrium will receive a Blackhawks and Margaritaville-themed t-shirt. The Atrium will also have specialty margaritas available, and fans (21 and older) who purchase one will also receive a commemorative cup, while supplies last. Doors to the Atrium will open at 4:00 p.m. for the event, with United Center gates to follow at 5:00 p.m.

The Boat Drunks, who have performed from coast to coast with nearly every member of Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band and opened shows for Jimmy Buffett, will headline the Atrium event. From Champaign, Ill. and now in their 18th year as a group, The Boat Drunks’ set features many fan-favorite Buffett hits. Additionally, in-arena elements will incorporate the Margaritaville theme and Jimmy Buffett music.

Fans interested in attending the game on Feb. 22 can purchase tickets on chicagoblackhawks.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.

Additionally, the Minnesota Wild will host a Margaritaville Night on Sunday, February 24th when the team takes on the St. Louis Blues at 2 p.m. All fans in attendance will escape to paradise during the game and go home with Wild Beach Towel. Click here for ticket information.
