The Dynamic Duo: A Cow Killer and A Wreck Punch

We already gave you the rundown on Anegada’s must-visit Cow Wreck Beach Bar. If you need a refresher: a ship full of cow bones crashed into the beach in the 1920s and left both bones and bits of ship, which were then repurposed to create the wacky and fun bar. Check out the article again here, if you’re thirsty for more.

But that’s not even the best part! You guessed it. The point of this story is yet to come! Cow Wreck Beach Bar boasts two fruity and delicious signature cocktails – Wreck Punch and Cow Killer. Those names alone make us want to drink three (each) right this second. If these rum cocktails can kill (and/or wreck) a cow, what will it do to us? We must find out.

Unfortunately, the Cow Killer’s recipe is kept extra, extra secret. The best we know is that it’s a creamier take on the Painkiller, and that makes it twice as delicious.

Cow Killer

4 parts pineapple juice
1 part orange juice
1 part cream of coconut
2-4 parts rum (depends on your preference, but we like 4)
Nutmeg

Pour ingredients over ice, shake and serve.

If this drink doesn’t seem quite like your thing, you’re in luck. The Wreck Punch is an equally strong, yummy, beach-worthy drink to sip in Anegada.

Wreck Punch

1 part light rum
1 part dark rum
1/2 part orange juice
1/2 part pineapple juice
1/4 part Coco Lopez
Splash of grenadine

Pour ingredients over ice, shake and serve.

Better yet? Order both. We know you’ve got all the time in the world, relaxin’ on Anegada’s beautiful beaches.
