Escape to Margaritaville with Frank Marshall’s Favorite Burger

It’s National Hamburger Month, and if you happen to have a Jurassic appetite, Escape to Margaritaville with Frank Marshall’s favorite burger recipe.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fresh ground beef
  • Salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Butter
  • Slice of jack cheese
  • Iceburg Lettuce
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Rosé

Directions

Roll the fresh ground beef into a ball, then pat it into a flat, thick patty, about 1 inch thick.  Season the patty with kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper, lightly oil the grill and heat the grill to medium. Place the burger on the grill and close the lid. Cook the patty until its no longer pink inside, turning once, about 6 – 8 minutes per side.

During this cooking phase, butter the bun, place it in a warming pan, and sip on a nice glass of Rosé. With one minute to go, add a slice of jack cheese and close the lid again. On the now-toasty bun, add the cheesy beef patty, iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickles and squeeze some ketchup and mustard on top.
