Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman is celebrating its soft opening with an exclusive new rate for locals. Representing a savings of nearly 60%, the limited-time local resident rate of $150 per night is available on new bookings and travel now through April 30. Service fees, government fees and resort fees are also being waived.

To book the resident rate, locals must call 1-855-640-6440 and mention the offer itself. This offer is exclusively for Caymanians and Cayman status holders; ID must be presented upon check-in.

As part of the resort’s soft opening, select guestrooms are now open, as are the resort’s unique open-air lobby, License to Chill® Bar, Margaritaville Coffee Shop® and 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill — boasting the largest swim-up bar on Grand Cayman. One of the island’s newest hotspots, the License to Chill Bar in the lobby offers Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 5-7 p.m. with 50% off draft beer and cocktails.

A sampling of the cocktails offered on the bar’s menu include the “Where’s the Party” margarita with golden tequila, triple sec, wildberry puree, and margarita mix, as well as the “License to Chillada” beer cocktail, which includes aged tequila, Bloody Mary mix and draft beer.
