Last month the Margaritaville University college ambassadors were challenged to submit their best burger recipe. A hungry panel of Margaritaville judges chose the best of the best to be featured on Margaritaville.com.

Hometown: Perrysburg, Ohio

College: The University of Toledo

Best thing about being part of Margaritaville University:  All of the people I’ve met spreading something I love so much across campus and my community!

Inspiration for my recipe: When coming up with this, I went to my coworkers for help. We always make the most of our time at work and together, so that went into the burger – making it a fun all around taste.

If I could enjoy my burger anywhere in the world it would be: St.Pete Beach, Florida

Watchin’ the Sun Bake-on Burger Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • Homemade Coleslaw
  • Lightly Baked Bacon
  • Tomato, Sliced Thin
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Whiskey BBQ Sauce
  • Toasted Bun

Directions:
Split the ground beef into patties and cook to preferred temperature. When the burgers are almost finished, add the cheddar cheese to the patties and put the buns on the grill. Drop each burger on a bun and add the remaining ingredients. Pair with homemade chips and lots of napkins.
