First Margaritaville property to open in 2021 brings beautiful oceanfront hotel to Florida
Global lifestyle and hospitality brand Margaritaville and Elite Hospitality debut Margaritaville Beach Hotel Jacksonville Beach, an oceanfront hotel located a few blocks north of the Jacksonville Beach Pier. The property is the first Margaritaville destination to open in 2021.
The brand-new hotel features 202 rooms with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean or hotel grounds from private terraces and patios; three Margaritaville-inspired dining options with ocean view outdoor seating; a 1,050 square foot retail store; and a 1,700 square foot meeting room. Designed by McBride Design to embody the brand’s passion for escapism, the family-friendly hotel combines the relaxed, surfer aesthetic of Jacksonville Beach with Margaritaville’s timeless tropical feel. Accommodations, including King and Double Queen bedrooms, premium Oceanview guestrooms and Oceanfront Suites with wraparound balconies, all provide Margaritaville’s signature casual-luxe vibe, comfortable bedding, and modern amenities.
“We are thrilled to be the first Margaritaville hotel destination to open in 2021 and kick off an exciting year in Jacksonville,” said Kristin Delgado, General Manager of Margaritaville Beach Hotel Jacksonville Beach. “We are committed to our cleaning protocols and look forward to safely welcoming guests to escape, unwind, and enjoy the laid-back surfer lifestyle.”
Locals and guests alike are encouraged to embrace the easy-going Margaritaville state of mind in each of the new dining venues. While taking in the ocean view, guests can enjoy LandShark Lookout’s gratifying classics with contemporary twists, while tasty café eatery, Joe Merchant, offers comforting favorites. Those looking for a relaxed, always-happy-hour vibe can visit the LandShark Bar & Grill, a flip-flop friendly bar, and sip on signature beverages and enjoy lite bites.
The property boasts a 1,700 square foot meeting room as well as a fully equipped fitness center, business center, expansive lobby, and public lounge spaces. Additionally, outdoor amenities include a refreshing pool and a relaxing firepit. The city’s best attractions are easily accessible from the hotel, including the Jacksonville Beach Amphitheatre, Jacksonville Beach Boardwalk, Jacksonville Beach Pier, family-friendly beaches, biking and park trails, unique artisan shops and galleries, renowned golf clubs, and more.
To celebrate the opening, LandShark Bar & Grill and LandShark Lookout are donating 10% of food and beverage revenue from the last two weekends in February to local charity, North Florida Land Trust, to help buy SMALL ISLANDS located in the Intercoastal Waterway in Jacksonville Beach. Margaritaville Beach Hotel will match the 10% for a total of 20%.
