Burger Battle 2022 winner Luriah Fenner has been with LandShark Bar & Grill since 2015. Starting off as a line cook Chef Lu has worked her way up to the Assistant Kitchen Manager at our LandShark Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach.
Chef Lu won this year’s Burger Battle with her Rasta Burger. Inspired by our Caribbean Burger, the Rasta Burger is a signature double burger, dripping with melted Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon, grilled pineapple, house-made mango pineapple BBQ sauce, and topped with crispy fried jalapenos, served on a toasted Brioche bun. Pair this burger with an ice-cold LandShark Lager and some Myrtle Beach wave watching from our deck for a true island experience.
“Chef Lu has been a great leader in the BOH and takes pride in her work and guides the culinary team to make sure they work as one cohesive unit. She continues to coach and develop all team members, to make sure her kitchen is one of the best in the company. I am so proud and excited to have her as my Kitchen Manager on a daily basis.” says Jason Shupperd, General Manager at LandShark Bar & Grill Myrtle Beach
When asked about being crowned 2022 Burger Battle Champ Chef Lu had this to say. “It feels great to be the winner, like on top of the world knowing people all over will be enjoying this great-tasting burger. I couldn’t be any prouder of myself with a creation having my name written all over it!!”
