Margaritaville, the global lifestyle brand, and Cedars Development, the Coquille Tribe’s entertainment and hospitality company, announce the official opening of Compass Hotel Medford in Oregon – following a soft opening in late June.

“Our Coquille Tribal community is absolutely delighted to open the doors to this beautiful new hotel,” said Coquille Tribe Chair, Brenda Mead. “Compass Hotel Medford truly reflects our Tribe’s potlatch tradition of offering a warm welcome to guests and neighbors.”

As a gateway to the Pacific Northwest, Compass by Margaritaville brings tropical hospitality to the region with 111 rooms in a family-friendly, boutique atmosphere.

“Everyone involved in this project is thrilled to be opening the second Compass by Margaritaville property, following the success of Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound,” said Chris Miller, General Manager of Compass Hotel Medford. “Our team members are excited to deliver the fun and relaxing guest experience that defines the Margaritaville state of mind.”

Set among the Pacific Northwest’s abundant forests and wild rivers, Compass Hotel Medford is a slice of paradise in the Rogue Valley, offering everything guests imagine in a relaxing vacation. A 7,000 square foot deck rests alongside an expansive swimming pool providing easy access to entertainment and the hotel’s restaurant and bar area. A nearly 8,000 square foot event lawn completes the scene.

The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet, followed by light snacks and refreshments in the Welcome Cabana throughout the day. As a pet-friendly hotel, every member of the family is welcome.

When the sun dips down, guests can kick back with a frozen cocktail and delicious bite at the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. The extensive menu includes expertly prepared burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts, and more.

The hotel’s fitness center provides state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment while 900 square feet of meeting space is fully equipped for A/V and food/banquet service in full or twin configurations.

Guests are encouraged to explore the area during their stay and discover world-class wineries, pro-level golf courses, Crater Lake National Park, and much more. For booking or more information, visit
