As 2023 comes to a close, we can’t help but look back on the past year and reminisce in our favorite moments. From Canada to Key West, Margaritaville University college ambassadors are sharing our laid- back state of mind with their campuses and communities. After FIFTEEN semesters of sunshine together, our ambassadors continue to raise the bar with their creativity and passion for relaxation. Here we’d like to highlight ambassadors who were truly better than the best and our “Favorites” from 2023…

Favorite Memory: The Annual Roundtable Event
Each year, top ambassadors are invited to experience a Margaritaville property being rewarded and immersed in the Margaritaville brand. This year, ambassadors visited Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Lodge in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. During their all-expenses paid trip, ambassadors participated in a multiple day discussion to improve and grow Margaritaville University, while fitting in some Great Smoky Mountain adventures along the way.

Better than the Best Ambassador Event: MargU Block Parties
Did you know our ambassadors host ~200 events and giveaways on campus every semester?! Because of this, we simply couldn’t choose one favorite. Pictured are some standout events from block parties to tailgates all featuring a ton of giveaways, raffles, music, games and more!

Favorite Philanthropic Event: Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk
Our ambassadors at University of Louisville organized a “Fins for a Cure” team for Louisville’s Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk supporting breast cancer research, education, and patient support services. The team raised funds while brightening the days of hundreds of survivors by handing out free goodies, decking everyone out in pink leis and sharing the Margaritaville state of mind.

Favorite Collab: The Margaritaville Run
The Margaritaville Run happens each fall, offering those near and far the ultimate opportunity to escape the everyday by running, walking or strolling in Margaritaville. At the end of the race, participants were celebrated with live music, post- race margaritas and, of course, MargU! Our ambassadors cheered at the finish line with games and giveaways for all those in attendance.

Top Fins Up Flag Location: Moab, Utah
The Fins Up Flag has become a coveted symbol of the Margaritaville University College Ambassador Program. So far, the Fins Up Flag has been flown across and U.S. and in Antarctica, Aruba, Australia, Belize, Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Dubai, Egypt, Fiji, Finland, France, Grenada, Honduras, India, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, The UK, and Vietnam. The Fins Up Flag has also made an appearance EIGHT times on ESPN College GameDay. This year we’re excited to see the flag flown over Moab, Utah at Canyonlands National Park!
