Lifestyle brand to open its first Bahamian restaurant on Paradise Island this fall
Margaritaville will soon offer both locals and vacationers another port of paradise as the company announces the development of the first of the brand’s restaurants in the Bahamas. Slated to open in fall 2015, the open-air, waterfront-concept restaurant will be located on picturesque Paradise Island, home to world famous resorts and attractions.
“Margaritaville is the place for all those looking to relax and escape the day-to-day, even if it’s only for a couple of hours,” said John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville. “We could not think of a better home than Paradise Island to build our first restaurant in the Bahamas.”
Margaritaville Bahamas will feature a signature forty seat Boat Drinks Bar, a portside open-air Chill Bar with a Drinks-To-Go window and a Margaritaville Retail Store. Keeping true to the brand’s “chill” theme, guests arriving from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal will find a Fin-shaped swimming pool complete with a LandShark Pool Bar that features underwater bottle top themed pedestals where they can soak up an authentic Margaritaville experience. The venue also includes a live performance stage with a fish-cleaning station, DJ booth, unique Paddle Board Booth seating, and a scale model of the Jimmy Buffett’s seaplane, the Hemisphere Dancer.
Prepared in Margaritaville’s one-of-a-kind, laid-back and fun style, the Bahamas restaurant will serve up the brand’s famed margaritas, frozen concoctions, boat drinks and cold beer, as well as its signature Cheeseburger in Paradise along with other island-inspired favorites including Bahamian Cracked Conch, Bimini Fish Sandwich and of course Conch Fritters.
