Jimmy Buffett’s restaurant, Margaritaville, is coming to Mall of America in 2016. The full-service restaurant and entertainment space will open on the Level 3, East in the late Spring.
Comprised of a restaurant, multiple bars, performance stage and retail store, Margaritaville offers visitors a chance to experience great food, signature margaritas, live entertainment and merchandise. Inspired by the lyrics and philosophy of Jimmy Buffett, guests will step inside a laid-back, destination island paradise setting.
The menu features house-made margaritas, frozen boat drinks and cold LandShark Lager along with signature food items like the Cheeseburger in Paradise and Volcano Nachos. Other notable menu items include Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and the “Drunken” Shrimp Skillet with roasted garlic, onions, peppers and tequila key lime butter served with a mini baguette.
“Margaritaville’s blend of specialty dining and entertainment, along with its iconic Jimmy Buffett brand is a strong addition to our growing list of unique restaurant offerings,” said Jill Renslow, SVP of marketing and business development for Mall of America. “We are excited to offer an ever-expanding variety of destination retailers and restaurants to our guests.”
Margaritaville will be located near the new Crayola Experience and the recently relocated Rainforest Cafe. The more than 9,000-square-foot space is slated to open in Spring of 2016.
