Margaritaville University, the Margaritaville college ambassador program, launched in 2016 and has quickly grown to over 200 students on more than 120 campuses across North America. In 2017, the program had some great moments, one of the top being the Margaritaville production team flying to Gainesville, FL to experience a day in the life of a Margaritaville University ambassador at the University of Florida.

This is what happened…

It’s looking back on moments like this that get us so excited for all the big things coming in 2018…

This week, the program welcomed ambassadors, new and old, to the Spring 2018 semester. Doing their best work in flip flops and donning tropical attire to class, ambassadors host special events on campus, introduce exclusive retail discounts, compete in social media challenges and spread the word about what’s new in Margaritaville. Of course, ambassadors are rewarded for their hard work (living on island time still means meeting deadlines!) and top ambassadors are offered the ultimate goal: a seat at the annual Ambassador Roundtable.

Last June, eight top ambassadors attended the Inaugural MargU Ambassador Roundtable at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. During three days of festivities, ambassadors relished in their hard work and immersed themselves in the Margaritaville lifestyle. Workin’ and playin’, they participated in a discussion to evolve and define the philosophy that is Margaritaville University… and soaked in the south Florida sunshine.
