Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s Make an Irish Float!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got a recipe for an Irish Float, which, if we’re being honest, is really more of a boozy milkshake. (Not that we’re complaining.)

The beauty of this drink? No exact measurements here! Here’s what you need to make it:

  • Couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • Glug of peppermint liqueur
  • LargerĀ glug of whiskey
  • Couple drops of green food coloring
  • A dollop of whipped cream
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Throw everything except the whipped cream and sprinkles into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass, spray a lot of whipped cream directly into your mouth, then remember you’re making cocktails, and reluctantly top yourĀ concoction with a delicate dollop of the whipped cream. Top with sprinkles, and toast with a hearty, “SlĆ”inte!”
