54 Miles to the Beach

You know that check engine light that never turns off and you just ignore it? The one your Dad puts heavy emphasis on and you always say, “Yup, I’m on it.”

Well, it turns out that my car has been out of coolant for a couple months now. Sorry, Dad.

Editor’s Note: Google tells me the job of coolant is to absorb the heat generated by the engine and transport it away, thus keeping the engine cool.

So, now we’re in this sticky little dilemma…stuck 54 miles from Cape Cod where my friends have an ice cold LandShark waiting for me. Much like the coolant, their job is keeping the beers cool, and I am the one who needs to be transported away.

Good thing my knight in shining Uber is on his way and I’ll be headed to the beach in no time. But, in the mean time, I’ll get a nice little base tan and let Margaritaville take me away.

Problem. Solved.
