ORLANDO, FL (February 22, 2024) – Get ready to step into a tropical oasis as the 3^rd annual Margaritaville Run hosted by Margaritaville Resort Orlando makes a splash with its highly anticipated return.

On September 28, the Margaritaville Run Orlando 5K & 10K is set to take place at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, along with the renewed Margaritaville Virtual Challenge. 

Margaritaville Run Orlando promises to be the memorable event of the year. From the pre-race happy hour to the post-race celebration, attendees will soak in breathtaking views of beaches, water, and stunning city skylines along the course.

“We are back for our 3^rd year and the Margaritaville Run is growing into one of the biggest and most fun running events in Orlando,” said Jamie Monroe, Race Director. “We invite both our seasoned runners and first-time participants to join – where fun tops speed – in the race for a good time. Through a tropical-inspired course, post-race beach party, and incredible race swag, our exciting partnership with Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers the perfect escape to paradise, with a running and relaxing weekend.”

Participants in the Orlando event on September 28th can choose between the 5K (3.1 miles) or the renewed 10K (6.2 miles) – winding around a scenic lake on the resort property and amidst the scenic backdrop of the resort’s cottages, secluded villas, and the shops at Sunset Walk. 

All runners will receive an exclusive race t-shirt and medal, free post-race Landshark beer, and a mini margarita (21+ only) while enjoying the live music of the expo. Attendees can maximize their escape with a 25% reward towards the room rate and a one-time $100 resort credit that can be used at Margaritaville Resort Orlando.
